Predictions for the UCL Leagues

Premier W - Trinity R/U North
Div 1 W - Glasnaoin R/U Parkhead
Div 2 W - Croftwood R/U Schalke
Div 2A W - Bray 2nd R/U Claremont
Div2B W - Sandyford R/U Bayer
Div 3 W - Lower Crumlin R/U Sanford
Div 3A W - Amber Celtic R/U Schalke 2nd
Div 3B W - Rumms R/U KCR

Congrats to Ailesbury on knocking Trinity out of Challenge Cup 1 - 0. Mr Bennis doing the damage I believe.
An Ailesbury/Clontarf final would be interesting, seeing as they might be the one club next season! Laughing

I think North will win the premier.Ive seen them play this year and they look very strong all over the park with some very tricky players aswell. And they got sasha gutu who is just a class act.I hope anyone wins it instead of Trinity. It would be a nice change.

North's next three games are against Stedafst, Trinity and Clontarf. That will be a big test for them. They dropped two points last week at VEC, if they drop 3-4 points over the next week, they are out of it... Looks like Clontarf have left themselves a lot to do with so many league games remaining so it's hard to look past Trinity making it five (or is it six?) in-a-row...

North also drew with Brayzil a few weeks back. They cant afford to lose any of their next 3 games. North have a great squad of players but dont seem to be able to get the 4 or 5 real quality players playing every week.
It will be interesting to see how mid-week football suits them. On their day they are the best team to watch. In my opinion Trinity will win the league again this year (unfortunitely!), but I feel North will win it next season if they keep hold of their quality players.

Norths next 3 games will be hard but theyve already beaten stedfast 8 - 1 and before that they were beaten them 3-0 before the match was abandond.I believe they should of beaten Trinity. But Clontarf will be interesting as they havent met each other yet.Does anybody know why Clontarf have only played 4 games?I think they have too much to do in too little time to challenge 4 the league.Lets not forget about Sportslink i hear there not a bad team.Has anyone seen them this season? Also North versus Trinity shield final that should be a cracker.Trinity might(hopefully)win nothing this season. And wouldnt that be terrible for the golden boys of the UCFL. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

I still think Trinty will win league - although they and Clontarf have a lot of mid week games to get through and both are still involved in Cups. CLontarf have too much to do and should win the Challenge Cup. North are a good footballing side but disipline can be a problem and also rumour has it the Sasha Gutu had left for UCD. Of the remainder Sportslink are exceeding expectations and have a good squad but I think they will end up 4th or 5th. Strand on their day will beat anyone but aren't consistant enough and Stedfast have too many older guys who were great 10 years ago and can still play now. The rest are mid to lower teams with the exception of Balally who have been desparate this season.
